We start by understanding how the place will be used. We then work through the choices that connect the design to the budget, the programme and the site. The result depends on the quality of those decisions as much as the appearance of the finished space.

KIOM is led by a Bachelor of Architecture graduate whose professional practice began in 2001, with a Diploma of Building and Construction and experience across design, project management and construction delivery.
That background includes consultant coordination, tendering, cost review, procurement, trade sequencing, site inspections and project close-out. It supports a detailed understanding of how an initial concept becomes a usable building or interior.

The experience behind KIOM.
Our leadership’s international delivery experience includes programmes for Domino’s, Pizza Hut, KFC and McDonald’s, together with workplace, banking, retail and institutional environments. This experience informs the way KIOM approaches repeatable details, operational requirements, programme commitments and stakeholder coordination.
The wider portfolio includes programmes covering more than 100 Domino’s outlets and 200 bank branches. Working across multiple sites builds a practical understanding of what can be standardised and what must be resolved for each location.
